1. About BalcanCare
BalcanCare ("the Platform") is operated as an online medical tourism marketplace connecting prospective patients ("Users") with independent, verified healthcare providers ("Clinics") in Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece and Romania. By using balcancare.com, you agree to these Terms in full.
2. Nature of Our Service
2.1 BalcanCare provides an information and referral service only. We do not provide medical advice, diagnoses or treatment.
2.2 All medical assessments, treatment plans, procedures and aftercare are the sole responsibility of the Clinic and the treating medical professionals.
2.3 Any prices shown on the Platform are indicative only. Final pricing is confirmed directly by the Clinic following a consultation.
2.4 BalcanCare does not guarantee treatment outcomes, and makes no representation as to the suitability of any treatment for any individual patient.
3. User Responsibilities
- •You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform.
- •You are responsible for providing accurate information in all enquiry forms.
- •You must independently verify all information provided by Clinics before making any medical decisions.
- •You are responsible for arranging appropriate travel insurance that covers medical treatment abroad.
- •You must consult your own doctor before travelling for medical treatment.
4. Clinic Listings
4.1 Clinics listed on BalcanCare have gone through a verification process. However, BalcanCare does not guarantee the accuracy of any information provided by Clinics, including qualifications, accreditations or pricing.
4.2 "Verified" status on BalcanCare indicates that we have reviewed the clinic's documentation at the time of listing. It does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of service quality.
4.3 BalcanCare reserves the right to remove any Clinic listing at any time without notice.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, BalcanCare shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from any medical treatment received through a Clinic found via the Platform.
5.2 BalcanCare's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to BalcanCare (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
5.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on BalcanCare — including text, images, logos, graphics and data — is the property of BalcanCare or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
7. Reviews & User Content
By submitting a review or any content to BalcanCare, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute that content. You warrant that your content is truthful, does not infringe any third-party rights and is not defamatory.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bulgarian courts, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes by posting a prominent notice on the Platform.
